Known by many as ADV Tinker, Mike has been a regular in the overland world for years. With the support of his awesome family, he decided it was time to turn passion into career by upfitting a line of trucks exactly the way he envisions they should be—functional, impactful, and using the best products and parts available. His passion for customer service and the "do unto others" philosophy is what sets ADV apart from the competition, and builds the foundation for everything the company is and will become. Having spent his life exploring and pursuing mechanical mastery, from Jetskis and motorcycles to robotics design and fabrication, Brian is extremely familiar with diverse systems. He has years of experience repairing and modifying vehicles as well as maintaining and operating snowmobile grooming equipment.
 

Brian enjoys snowboarding in terrain parks, dirt biking, wake surfing, and off-roading in places like Windrock TN, Moab UT, and the UP of MI here in ADV Mobil's home state. Brian’s keen mechanical sense and fine attention to detail make him a great set of hands at ADV Mobil.

Taylor worked as a Diesel Mechanic for his family's business, K&S of Weston, WI for nearly a decade before joining the ADV Mobil team. He spends his free time building teardrop trailers and off-road vehicles, like his Toyota FJ Cruiser and Jeep CJ-7. He is a solid trail-leader and recovery expert, and helps lead various overland groups and events.

Taking advantage of his experience in mechanics and extensive knowledge of the Super-Duty chassis, Taylor leads ADV Mobil's ground level fabrication and manages the day-to-day flow of the shop.

With nearly two decades of experience in the welding, fabrication, and assembly industry, David was a shoo-in here at ADV Mobil. As an all-around handyman and jack of all trades, David wanted to finish out his career working on unique, creative, and fun projects – he found the right place!

In his free time, you can find David fishing, hunting, boating with friends and family, and spending time with his family in NW Michigan in their new camper.

Jack has worked in IT for over a decade, and transfers over his skills to overlanding via mapping and radio programming. Overland comms is his speciality, but at ADV Mobil, he's proved himself useful at anything thrown at him—especially wiring! Jack enjoys camping, off-roading, going to the gun range, mountain biking and foraging.

As the team extrovert, Jack thrives in production relations, and when needed, is randomly also the shop bouncer.

Steven has been a welder for 5 years and has dabbled in many areas of the trade including sprinkler systems for fire alarms, flanges on fire hydrants, making skid steer buckets, fixing car exhausts, and now as a welder and shop technician for ADV Mobil.
 
When he’s not heating things up at the shop, Steven enjoys heading to the sand dunes to ride his ATV, snowmobiling, and boating on the chain of lakes in his hometown of Pinckney.
